Hey guys, it’s Anthony, your super reservist. I’m sick, yeah. I know I can’t talk for a damn, but I’ve got a little term here, a little phrase that probably, if you clicked on this, you’re like, “whatever, ain’t no inhale, we got a sick sport here, basically, EGR delete total district.” This truck now has a salvage title. It has a hundred thousand miles and it has a salvage title when it first showed up with this property. We yanked the dash out, took a bunch of stuff out, but let’s get to what happened.
Okay, are you familiar with six for EGR delete? This bracket, this EGR provision pipe, but the catalyst goes, looks off the Wi-Fi, it goes up and around and goes to here with the block off right. Well, the whole reason why we’ve got this freaking block off is because of so the EGR, so the EBP sensor right there can get its signal right, and there’s a little bracket that mounts to the head right down there in the bottom. So little bracket right, no biggie! You got a little bracket, this bracket, this bracket right there.
So look! What happened? The entire freaking thing came off. Well, big deal. Okay, it’s got an exhaust leak. Well, that exhaust leak burnt it. Let me go back here. Let me show you: this is the underside of it. It caught on fire, the truck caught on fire, and it melted. First, it melted the shift cable. We have to get a new shift cable for it. We’re gonna get a new transmission artist, see it melted.
All this happened because it caught fire and melted a spot in the carpet. We replaced the carpet with new Ford carpet, which we had to buy because it doesn’t fold forward. We weren’t sure what caused the fire, but we suspected an exhaust leak. We checked for any other damage, but the reason it’s totaled is because of potential consequential damage.
We removed the dash and found that the firewall was melted. We’re going to update everything by using brand new six-liter manifolds and making our own pipes with vibrant flex joints. We’ll throw away the bottom half of the stock exhaust and use six-liter flanges on the bottom. We’ll also use the six-liter EBP location for the manifold and make the tube that goes up to put the six-liter EBP sensor in the factory location. This way, we’ll have a kit that works and is easy to install.
This truck, yeah, that’s a stupid, blatant term, but you know what? I don’t give a damn. Because if you look at the big picture, if we had put quality parts on this truck, and actually, you know, if this spike had been on the truck, this truck wouldn’t be totaled. But it is what it is. We’re going to go ahead and learn. It’s time. We’re going to get the EBP line gun.
Now, I don’t care. You know, we can do the entire setups with the six-liter manifolds and the six-liter up pipes with the EBP coming from the front of the manifold like on a 6-liter. We can sell the whole kits. You know, they’re not quite sure yet how much we’ll sell them for, but the thing that’s a bummer is nobody sells the EBP. Nobody sells that.
You know, you buy these kits from everywhere else, and they have six. They come with six-liter manifolds. They come with the exhaust already done, ready to go, but there ain’t nothing for the exhaust about pressure sensor. You know, granted, we could move stuff around.
You know, which I don’t know who knows. We’re going to play with where we’re going to put it at, but I think it’s kind of ridiculous that they don’t. You know, they go through all this stuff, but don’t make a freakin hose, a tube so that we can have EVP where it’s supposed to be at on a 6.4 would be nice. That’s what I want to do. So yeah, I’m sick. I can’t talk. Freakin sucks.
We are going to go ahead and put the undercover harness on the high-pressure fuel pump, get that updated and make sure it’s updated. Yeah, I said it before. 6.4 will run without a little bluesy type, so we got to get under there and we’ll make sure as it dies on it. We are going to go ahead and do both tensioners, put new belts on it, because 6.4 boy, they tensioners up and they get rid of this Gates belt and conformally, get her hose. Get it forward hose on the.
But you know, go ahead and get rid of and get an actual elbow to get rid of all that crap there. Who knows? We’ll see. Some of these trucks they get all funny. You have to put resistors on it. We’ll see. Most of that’s just because of tuning. If we get the right tuning on it, it’ll be fine. But yeah, that’s all we got. What I’m playing with now, playing with a 6.4. Alright guys, have a good day.
